Quality assurance

HALE early (since 1985) has introduced quality assurance measures in production. Since then we have continuously improved our quality management:

  • HALE implemented in 2003 the quality management system according to ISO 9001.
  • Already in 2008, HALE as one of the first manufacturers implemented the MID-directive for its taximeter production.
  • Also in 2008, HALE was accredited for taximeter verification in accordance with EN ISO 17025.
  • Since January 2014, HALE has been certified according to IATF 16949.*
  • Since autumn 2017, HALE has been the first private conformity service center for taximeters in Germany, recognized by the "Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt Braunschweig".
  • After establishing an Information Security Management System (ISMS), HALE completed the TISAX® label assessment in March 2025 and has been TISAX® certified ever since. Further information can be found HERE.
