The mirror taximeter - a taximeter, which is completely integrated in the rear view mirror of the taxi - is a worldwide innovation. It offers many advantages to the user and sets new paces in electronic design and distribution for the whole taximeter market.

The automatic luminosity regulation coupled with the self-acting dimming EC mirror glass guarantees an optimal readability at every light. During nighttime, for example, luminosity is decreased to avoid dazzling the driver. At direct sun insolation however, luminosity is increased to a maximum to display the fare clearly visible.

The mirror taximeter offers an esthetical pleasant solution. The displayed fare can be seen very clearly from every seat. When switched off (OFF mode), the taximeter is invisible.

The mirror taximeter is available ex works from the vehicle manufacturer (can be ordered when buying a new vehicle) or can be supplemented by a HALE partner.

When buying a taxi package the connections for the mirror taximeter and the cable for additional periphery like HALE thermal paper printer are mostly existing ex works from the vehicle manufacturer.
