	22.08.2007 HALE Cey-System - your key to success Most taxi owners in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, already trust in the HALE Cey-System and entrepreneurs from all over the world are following their example. The feedback of these experienced users is completely positive and achievements such as the rapid amortisation of investment costs and a notable increase of control and efficiency are pointed out. In 1987, HALE decided to specialise in taxi business and introduced the CARD system, which allowed data transmission from the taximeter to a PC. In 1997, after ten years of ongoing development, HALE realised a completely new concept for data transmission named Cey-System. The name is derived from the principal components of the system: a small memory chip integrated into a portable memory key (CHIP + KEY = CEY). These robust Ceys are easy to handle and allow the uncomplicated transfer of trip- and shift data to a PC where data can be viewed and analysed. In combination with HALE Cab Assistant software, the Cey-System is a powerful tool for operating and controlling a taxi fleet efficiently and neither requires expensive investments nor time-consuming training. Taxis with a HALE Microtax-05 or a mirror taximeter SPT-01 only need to install a Cey-contact in the car. Apart from that, an inexpensive memory-reader has to be connected to the computer and each driver needs one driver-Cey. While the Cab Assistant software is designed to manage up to 300 vehicles, the Cey-System can be expanded infinitely due to its modular concept. For operating larger fleets, combine HALE Cey-System with our more extensive HALE Cey2DB software, which integrates all trip- and shift data into a SQL-database. Apart from that, several German programmers have created specialised programmes (e.g. with integrated driver wage accounting) on basis of the popular HALE Cey-System. In case a driver-Cey gets lost, all data can be read out with the owner-Cey. Additionally all data is protected with an owner code. For further processing, trip- and shift data can be exported as text file to Excel, WinWord, etc. The module edit of the Cab Assistant software also enables the calculation of special conditions and supports the accounting of patient transport and frequent clients. The HALE Cey-System can be combined with Microtax-05 and mirror taximeter SPT-01.
