HALE electronic GmbH was founded in 1972 as a special workshop for vehicle instrumentation and looks back on more than 30 years of experience in developing and manufacturing electronic taximeters.

In 1977 HALE has developed its first HALE taximeter and soon reaches a market share of 80% in Austria. Today, HALE offers a complete product range for modern taxi companies.

So far, HALE taximeters can be found in over 40 export countries, in many of which HALE has taken leadership.

More than 80 qualified employees at our company in Salzburg are responsible for soft- and hardware development, production and distribution.
